ARMIDALE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Established in 1943, the Armidale Symphony Orchestra is New England’s own regional community orchestra, presenting high quality performances of music by renowned composers.

The Orchestra rehearses on Monday nights from 7 to 9 pm at the Armidale Teachers’ College and gives approximately three concerts each year.

The Orchestra often performs with the Armidale Choral Society, the Armidale Music Foundation, and the Armidale Drama and Music Society.

New members are welcome.

The heritage-listed Armidale Teachers’ College is a significant contributor to the identity of the New England region, and is home to many community and cultural organisations.
